2020
The idea
Thor and Kaarel were racing 29ers but couldn’t match the fastest teams. Kaarel suggested measuring sail trim to find out why.
2021
First steps
Kaarel and Thor teamed up, with Jarl joining to build the first prototype. They thought it’d be a quick project - it wasn’t.
2022
First protoypes
Initial versions used ribbon sensors to track sail shape and twist. Testing began, and the concept proved valuable.
2023
Growth & recognition
Trimsense gained traction through hackathons, community support, and early funding.
2024
Advancing prototype
Switched to LODE technology for better accuracy and durability. Systems reached early adopters.

Scaling up
